Saturday Evening
5:30pm – 7:30pm
The evening includes a detailed demonstration from the instructor on proper technique in centering, throwing and shaping on the pottery wheel. Pairings then take turns throwing on a wheel to make their first piece. A second demonstration will be provided followed by an opportunity for the duo to make a second piece. At the end of the class the pair can select which glaze they would like the instructor to use on the pieces.
The instructor will take the pieces, trim them so they have a nice clean bottom, glaze and fire the pieces. The pieces should be ready about three weeks later for pick-up.
